Service Completed: Back Box Delete & Dual Rear Exhaust Conversion

At MIJ Exhaust Ltd, we recently completed a custom exhaust upgrade on this 2016 Volkswagen Scirocco GT TSI BlueMotion 1.4L Petrol, giving the vehicle a sportier appearance and a more engaging exhaust note.

For this build, we carried out a back box delete and fabricated a custom dual rear exhaust conversion. The new setup allows for improved exhaust flow while producing a deeper, more purposeful sound that better reflects the Scirocco’s sporty styling, without becoming excessive for everyday driving.

To complete the transformation, we finished the system with a pair of large-bore slash-cut exhaust tips, giving the rear of the vehicle a much more aggressive and performance-inspired appearance. The larger tips fill the rear valance more effectively and provide a clean, factory-style finish that enhances the overall look of the car.

The dual rear conversion significantly improves the visual presence of the Scirocco, creating a more balanced and premium rear-end aesthetic compared to the original single-exit setup.

As with all of our custom exhaust work, the system was fabricated in-house using quality materials and precision craftsmanship to ensure excellent fitment, durability, and a professional finish throughout.
