Stainless Steel Exhaust Stacks
How Does an Exhaust Stack Work?

The main purpose of giant exhaust stacks is to exit the exhaust gasses up and away from the vehicle. Some vehicles may have a single exhaust stack or dual exhaust stacks, depending on the engine type. Exhaust Stacks work by getting rid of the air out of the cylinders faster.

Twin Stack Exhaust

Dual giant exhaust stacks are also often added to single stack exhausts for visual purposes only – thus giving a striking cosmetic upgrade!

Truck Exhaust Stacks Available in the UK

Our exhaust stacks are suitable for a variety of vehicles, including large commercial lorries and tractors. They are most commonly used as truck stacks, but are also extremely useful as tractor exhaust stacks. In addition, they can be used for a range of other applications, such as exhausts on cars, flues, chimneys, and many more!

Exhaust Stack Covers

On vehicles such as tractors, they can also have ‘flaps’ or ‘caps’ fitted on to them. These exhaust stacks covers will then prevent rain, debris etc from entering it and negatively affecting the engine. Unfortunately, we no longer supply these flaps, but they are widely available elsewhere.

Vertical or Horizontal Exhaust Stacks

Our giant exhaust stacks can be used vertically or horizontally. But what is the reason why some trucks/ lorries have vertically lined stacks? There are a number of reasons, including;

  • Manoeuvrability
  • To prevent the hot gasses (from large vehicles) directly hitting trailers/ products loaded to the rear
  • To prevent hot gasses directly hitting other vehicles.
