Service Completed: Custom Cat-Back Exhaust System

At MIJ Exhaust Ltd, we recently completed a bespoke cat-back exhaust system for a 2000 VW Polo Petrol, replacing the existing system with a custom stainless steel setup designed and manufactured to the customer’s requirements.

For this project, the customer requested a cat-back system featuring straight-through pipework and a custom pie-cut tailpipe-style back box. We fabricated the system entirely in-house, carefully routing the new stainless steel pipework to provide accurate fitment underneath the Polo while creating the distinctive rear-end finish requested by the customer.

The pie-cut tailpipe-style back box gives the exhaust a unique and highly customised appearance, with the segmented fabrication adding an eye-catching detail to the rear of the vehicle. Combined with the straight-through design, the finished system gives the Polo a more purposeful exhaust character and a distinctive appearance.

Manufactured entirely in-house using premium-grade stainless steel, the new cat-back system was built specifically for this VW Polo to provide excellent durability, accurate fitment, and a high-quality finish throughout. Our experienced fabricators paid close attention to the pipework, positioning, clearances, and final appearance to ensure the completed system was both functional and visually distinctive.
