Service Completed: Custom Cat-Back Exhaust System (Mid & Rear Section)

At MIJ Exhaust Ltd, we recently carried out a custom exhaust upgrade on this 2002 Volkswagen Golf Diesel, designing and fabricating a bespoke cat-back mid and rear exhaust system to enhance both performance and aesthetics while retaining everyday drivability.

This one-off system was precision-built in-house using premium T304 stainless steel and fully TIG welded throughout, ensuring exceptional strength, corrosion resistance, and a long service life. The cat-back design allows for improved exhaust flow and a refined exhaust note, perfectly suited to the character of the diesel engine without being intrusive.

To complete the look, the system was finished with our stylish double-skinned twin slash-cut tailpipe, adding a subtle yet sporty rear-end presence that complements the Golf’s classic styling.
