Service Completed: Custom Cat-Back Exhaust System

At MIJ Exhaust Ltd, we recently completed a bespoke cat-back exhaust system for a 2011 Vauxhall Astra GTC SRi 1.6L Turbo Petrol, replacing the original rear exhaust sections with a handcrafted stainless steel system designed and manufactured to the customer’s requirements.

For this project, the customer requested a complete cat-back exhaust system featuring a single-exit layout with a twin staggered exhaust tip. We fabricated the new system in-house, carefully shaping and positioning the pipework to provide accurate fitment underneath the Astra while achieving the desired appearance at the rear of the vehicle.

The system was finished with a distinctive twin staggered tip, giving the Astra GTC SRi a sportier and more individual appearance. The single-exit configuration keeps the rear looking clean and purposeful, while the staggered twin-tip design adds an eye-catching finishing touch that complements the styling of the GTC.

Manufactured entirely in-house using premium-grade stainless steel, the new cat-back system was built specifically for this vehicle to provide excellent durability, accurate fitment, and a high-quality finish. The custom system also gives the vehicle a more pronounced and sporty exhaust note, adding character to the 1.6L Turbo engine while remaining suitable for everyday driving.
