Service Completed: Custom Single Exit Cat-Back Exhaust with Jap-Style Rear Can

At MIJ Exhaust Ltd, we recently completed a bespoke single exit cat-back exhaust system on this Toyota Yaris 1.5L Petrol (2003), designed to enhance sound and styling while keeping the setup practical for everyday use.

The original system was replaced with a custom-built mid section and rear exhaust, improving exhaust flow and allowing the engine to breathe more freely. This results in a crisper throttle response and a deeper, sportier exhaust note without being overly intrusive.

To finish the system, we fitted a Jap-style rear can, giving the Yaris a classic performance look and a more pronounced tone that suits the character of the car perfectly.

As with all of our exhaust systems, this setup was hand-fabricated in-house using high-quality T304 stainless steel and fully TIG welded, ensuring excellent durability, a precise fit, and a clean, professional finish.
