Service Completed: Subaru Impreza Turbo 2000 1997 2.0L Turbocharged Petrol Custom Rear Exhaust Section Upgrade

At MIJ Exhaust Ltd, we recently welcomed this 1997 Subaru Impreza Turbo 2000 2.0L Turbocharged Petrol into our workshop for a custom rear exhaust section upgrade, giving this iconic performance Subaru a bespoke exhaust finish.

The customer was looking to upgrade the rear section of the exhaust, with a design that complemented the Impreza’s unmistakable performance styling while adding a distinctive finishing touch. After discussing the options, we set about creating a custom solution tailored to the vehicle.

For this project, we carried out a custom rear exhaust section upgrade, featuring an oval exhaust box and a pie-cut exhaust tip. The new rear section was carefully fabricated and fitted to ensure the system sat neatly beneath the vehicle, with attention to alignment, clearance, and overall finish.

The oval box provides a clean, purposeful look, while the pie-cut tip adds a distinctive custom detail that sets this exhaust apart. Together, these features give the rear of the Impreza a sharper, more individual appearance while retaining the character of this classic turbocharged Subaru.
