Service Completed: Custom Single Exit Cat-Back Exhaust System

At MIJ Exhaust Ltd, we recently completed a custom cat-back exhaust system for this 2009 Mercedes-Benz CLC180 Kompressor Sport 1.8L Petrol, providing the vehicle with a durable stainless steel exhaust upgrade tailored specifically to the customer’s requirements.

For this build, our experienced stainless steel exhaust fabricators manufactured and installed a bespoke cat-back exhaust system, replacing the exhaust components from the catalytic converter backwards. The new system was designed to offer a direct-fit solution while improving the longevity and overall condition of the vehicle’s exhaust setup.

The customer opted to retain the vehicle’s original single-exit configuration, meaning the exhaust exits from one side of the rear bumper. By maintaining the factory layout, the finished system preserves the clean and understated styling of the CLC while benefiting from a completely custom-fabricated stainless steel exhaust.

In addition to providing a long-lasting replacement for the original system, the new cat-back exhaust delivers a refined and slightly deeper exhaust tone that suits the character of the supercharged 1.8-litre Kompressor engine. The result is a subtle enhancement that complements the vehicle without compromising comfort or everyday drivability.
