Service Completed: Dual Exit Backbox Delete Upgrade

At MIJ Exhaust Ltd, we recently carried out a bespoke exhaust modification on this Mercedes-Benz C180 AMG Sport Edition 2014, designed to enhance sound, improve flow, and give the car a more aggressive AMG-inspired presence.

This build features a dual exit rear backbox delete, removing the restrictive factory silencer to create a freer-flowing exhaust system. The result is a sharper throttle response and a deeper, more pronounced exhaust note, bringing more character to the 1.6L turbo engine.

To complete the look, we fitted quad AMG-style exhaust tips, transforming the rear aesthetics with a sportier, more premium finish that perfectly suits the AMG Sport styling.

On the road, the upgrade delivers a stronger, more purposeful tone under acceleration, while still maintaining a comfortable level of refinement during everyday driving.

As with all of our exhaust work, this system was fabricated in-house using high-grade T304 stainless steel, ensuring durability, corrosion resistance, and a clean OEM+ finish.
