Mazda MX5 1998 – Full Downpipe-Back Exhaust Upgrade at MIJ Exhaust! 🔥

This vehicle came into MIJ Exhaust for a full downpipe back system, designed not only to improve sound and styling, but also to resolve an issue with the existing exhaust sitting too low and catching the ground. 😎💨

We custom fabricated a bespoke system from the downpipe back, repositioning and refining the setup to ensure better clearance and a more secure fit, eliminating the risk of scraping while driving.

Alongside the functional improvements, the goal was to achieve a mid-sport exhaust note — giving the car a deeper, more engaging tone without being overly loud, making it ideal for both daily use and spirited driving.

To complete the look, we fitted a blue burnt effect tailpipe, adding a bold, performance-inspired finish to the rear and elevating the overall appearance.
