Service Completed: Custom Cat & Rear Exhaust Upgrade

At MIJ Exhaust Ltd, we recently completed a bespoke exhaust upgrade for a 2016 Jaguar XF S Turbocharged, combining a custom cat upgrade for off-road use only with a fully fabricated rear section and back box delete. The system was designed to enhance the vehicle’s appearance and exhaust character while providing a completely bespoke finish tailored to the customer’s requirements.

For this project, the Jaguar came in for an upgraded cat section, specified for off-road use only, alongside a custom rear exhaust upgrade. We removed the original rear back boxes and fabricated a new stainless steel rear section, carefully designed around the vehicle to provide accurate fitment and the required clearances throughout.

The rear section was finished with a quad-exit configuration, featuring twin exhaust tips on each side of the vehicle. This four-tip setup gives the XF S a much more aggressive and purposeful appearance, complementing the styling of the Jaguar while maintaining a clean and symmetrical finish across the rear of the vehicle.

Manufactured entirely in-house using premium-grade stainless steel, the new rear exhaust section was handcrafted specifically for this Jaguar XF S. The back box delete and custom pipework provide a more pronounced and sporty exhaust note, while the quad-exit design significantly transforms the visual appearance of the rear of the vehicle.

The cat upgrade was also fabricated as part of the project and is intended strictly for off-road use only. At MIJ Exhaust Ltd, all of our bespoke exhaust work is carried out in accordance with the customer’s individual requirements and specifications. Whether a customer requests a specific exhaust configuration, sound, appearance, or performance setup, we manufacture and install the system to their chosen specification. Where modifications are intended for off-road or motorsport use only, this is done at the customer’s request and it remains the customer’s responsibility to ensure the vehicle complies with all relevant legal and road-use requirements before being used on public roads.
