Service Completed: Dual Exit Back Box Delete with Burnt Blue Double-Skinned Tips

At MIJ Exhaust Ltd, we recently carried out a custom dual-exit back box delete on this 2005 Hyundai Coupe V6 2.7L Petrol, enhancing both the sound and appearance of this stylish sports coupe.

The factory exhaust system on this model features a rear silencer (back box) on each side of the vehicle as part of its dual-exit configuration. For this build, we removed both rear boxes and replaced them with precision-fabricated straight pipe sections, allowing the V6 engine to breathe more freely and produce a deeper, more pronounced exhaust note.

The modification has transformed the character of the vehicle, giving the 2.7-litre V6 a richer and sportier sound while retaining excellent drivability. The result is a more engaging exhaust tone that better matches the Coupe’s sporty styling and performance credentials.

To complete the look, the customer selected a set of burnt blue double-skinned exhaust tips. The vibrant blue finish complements the vehicle’s paintwork beautifully, creating a striking rear-end appearance that stands out without looking out of place. The double-skinned design also provides a premium finish and helps maintain the tips’ appearance over time.
