Service Completed: Custom Cat-Back Dual Exit Exhaust Conversion

At MIJ Exhaust Ltd, we recently completed a bespoke cat-back exhaust system for a 2012 Ford Focus Titanium TDCi 1.6L Turbo Diesel, carrying out a custom dual-exit conversion designed and manufactured to the customer’s requirements.

For this project, the customer requested a dual-exit cat-back exhaust system, transforming the original single-exit setup into a balanced twin-sided configuration. We fabricated the new stainless steel cat-back system entirely in-house, carefully routing the pipework and positioning the outlets to achieve accurate fitment and a clean finish underneath the vehicle.

The new system features a single-exit outlet on each side of the rear of the Focus, finished with double-skinned slash-cut exhaust tips. This combination gives the vehicle a more distinctive and sporty appearance, with the angled slash-cut tips adding a sharp finishing detail while the double-skinned construction provides a substantial, high-quality appearance.

Manufactured entirely in-house using premium-grade stainless steel, the new cat-back system was built specifically for this Ford Focus to provide excellent durability, accurate fitment, and a professional finish throughout. Particular attention was given to the routing of the pipework and positioning of both exits to ensure a symmetrical and factory-style appearance.
