Service Completed: Dual Rear Backbox Delete Upgrade

At MIJ Exhaust Ltd, we recently completed a custom exhaust modification on this BMW M135i xDrive 2019, designed to enhance sound, improve flow, and give the car a more aggressive presence on the road.

This build features a dual rear section backbox delete, removing the restrictive factory rear silencers to allow for a freer-flowing exhaust setup. The result is a sharper throttle response and a much more pronounced exhaust note, bringing out the sporty character of the 2.0L turbo engine.

To finish, we fitted single matte black tips on each side, giving the rear a clean, stealthy look that complements the car’s performance styling while keeping an OEM+ aesthetic.

On the road, the upgrade delivers a deeper, more aggressive tone under acceleration, with a refined note during cruising to maintain everyday usability.

As with all of our exhaust work, this system was fabricated in-house using high-quality T304 stainless steel, ensuring durability, corrosion resistance, and a precise, high-quality finish.
