Service Completed: Custom Exhaust Tweaks (OPF & Backbox Delete)

At MIJ Exhaust Ltd, we recently carried out a tailored exhaust modification on this BMW 330i (2019) 2.0L Petrol, where the client requested targeted upgrades rather than a full system replacement.

This setup included an OPF delete along with a backbox delete, carefully configured to improve exhaust flow and unlock a more engaging driving experience. Removing the OPF restriction allows the engine to breathe more freely, resulting in a sharper throttle response and a more direct, unfiltered exhaust character.

The backbox delete further enhances the overall sound profile, giving the vehicle a deeper, more aggressive tone with increased volume under acceleration while still maintaining a level of refinement during cruising.

These modifications work together to transform the driving experience, bringing out a more dynamic and sporty character from the 330i without the need for a full exhaust system upgrade.

As with all of our work, this setup was carried out in-house using high-quality T304 stainless steel and precision fabrication techniques to ensure durability, reliability, and a clean OEM+ finish.
