Service Completed: Custom Rear Section & Quad Exit Exhaust Upgrade

At MIJ Exhaust Ltd, we recently completed a bespoke rear exhaust upgrade for a 2017 BMW 20i 2.0L Turbo Petrol, carrying out a back box delete and fabricating a custom quad-exit rear section designed specifically to the customer’s requirements.

For this project, the customer requested a rear section upgrade with the original back boxes removed and replaced with a custom stainless steel setup. We fabricated the new rear section entirely in-house, carefully routing and positioning the pipework to achieve accurate fitment and a clean finish underneath the vehicle.

The rear of the BMW was finished with a quad-exit configuration, featuring twin exhaust tips on each side. This gives the vehicle a much more aggressive and sporty appearance, while the symmetrical four-tip layout creates a balanced finish across the rear of the car. The back box delete also provides a more noticeable and sporty exhaust note from the 2.0L Turbo Petrol engine.

Manufactured entirely in-house using premium-grade stainless steel, the new rear section was built specifically for this BMW to provide excellent durability, accurate fitment, and a high-quality finish. Particular attention was given to the positioning of all four exhaust tips to ensure they sit evenly and complement the lines of the vehicle.
