Service Completed: Rear Section Upgrade (Back Box Delete) with Twin Tips

At MIJ Exhaust Ltd, we recently completed a rear section exhaust upgrade on this BMW 220i Sport (2015) 2.0L Petrol, designed to enhance the sound and give the car a more aggressive rear-end appearance.

The factory rear silencer was removed and replaced with a custom-fabricated straight-through section, improving exhaust flow and delivering a sharper, more sporty exhaust note. The result is a deeper tone under load, with a more engaging driving experience overall, while still remaining usable for everyday driving.

To complete the look, we fitted a twin tip setup, giving the rear of the vehicle a cleaner, more performance-focused finish that suits the sporty character of the 220i.

As with all of our systems, this was hand-fabricated in-house using high-quality T304 stainless steel and fully TIG welded, ensuring durability, a precise fit, and a high-quality finish throughout.
