🔧 Service Completed: Backbox Delete & Dual Exit Conversion

At MIJ Exhaust Ltd, we recently carried out a custom backbox delete on this BMW 118i 2017 1.5L Petrol, giving the car a noticeably deeper and sportier exhaust note while retaining everyday drivability.

The factory rear silencer was removed and replaced with a custom-fabricated section, allowing more of the engine’s natural sound to come through. The result is a sharper, more engaging exhaust tone with improved presence under acceleration, while remaining refined during normal driving conditions.

To complete the transformation, we converted the exhaust to a dual-exit setup and finished it off with a pair of blue burnt-effect slash-cut exhaust tips. The new rear-end appearance gives the car a much more aggressive and performance-inspired look, perfectly complementing the enhanced exhaust note.

As with all of our exhaust work, the system was fabricated and installed entirely in-house using high-quality materials and precision craftsmanship to ensure excellent fitment, durability, and a clean finish.
