Service Completed: Dual Rear Conversion with Blue Burnt Effect Slash Cut Exhaust Tips

At MIJ Exhaust Ltd, we recently carried out a custom dual rear exhaust conversion on this 2004 Audi TT Quattro 1.8L Petrol, transforming the rear-end appearance of the vehicle and giving it a more balanced and sporting finish.

Originally, this Audi TT featured a single exhaust exit on the left-hand side of the vehicle. For this build, we fabricated and installed a custom dual rear section, allowing the exhaust system to exit from both sides of the rear bumper. This conversion not only improves the visual symmetry of the car but also gives the rear end a more purposeful and performance-inspired appearance.

To complete the transformation, we fitted a pair of stylish blue burnt effect slash cut exhaust tips, with one tip positioned on each side of the vehicle. The eye-catching burnt finish adds a modern and distinctive touch, perfectly complementing the TT’s timeless styling. The slash cut design provides a subtle yet aggressive appearance, helping to enhance the vehicle’s overall character while giving it a premium finishing touch.

The completed setup delivers a deeper and more refined exhaust note compared to the standard single-exit system, allowing the 1.8-litre turbocharged engine to produce a more engaging sound while maintaining everyday drivability. Combined with the dual exit layout, the modification significantly improves both the sound and rear-end aesthetics of the vehicle.
