Service Completed: Custom Dual Exit Backbox Delete Upgrade

At MIJ Exhaust Ltd, we recently completed a bespoke exhaust upgrade on this Audi A7 Sportback 3.0L TDI Quattro (2015), designed to enhance both the rear-end styling and overall exhaust character while improving flow from the factory system.

This build featured a custom dual rear exit conversion with a backbox delete, removing the restrictive rear silencer and allowing exhaust gases to flow more freely. The result is a smoother, more responsive setup with a deeper, more pronounced diesel tone and a noticeable increase in presence under acceleration.

The dual exit configuration completely transforms the rear profile of the A7, giving it a more balanced, aggressive, and performance-inspired appearance while still maintaining a clean OEM+ finish in keeping with Audi’s design language.

As with all of our systems, this exhaust was hand-fabricated in-house using high-quality T304 stainless steel and fully TIG welded, ensuring excellent durability, corrosion resistance, and a precise, long-lasting fit.
