Service Completed: BMW 535d Rear Quad Exhaust Conversion

At MIJ Exhaust Ltd, we recently completed a stunning rear quad exhaust conversion on this BMW 535d, transforming the rear of the vehicle with a much more aggressive and performance-inspired appearance.

From the factory, this 535d featured a single-sided exhaust setup with twin exhaust tips exiting from one side of the rear bumper. The owner wanted a more balanced and sporty look, so we carried out a rear conversion, modifying the exhaust system to exit from both sides of the vehicle in a quad-tip configuration.

A rear conversion like this involves fabricating a new exhaust layout that allows the system to exit from both the left and right-hand sides of the vehicle. On some models, we’re able to modify the original rear bumper to accommodate the new exhaust outlets. However, on vehicles like this beautiful BMW 5 Series, the correct approach is to fit a replacement rear valance or diffuser designed specifically for the dual-exit configuration.

While we don’t supply rear valances or diffusers, we’re always happy to professionally fit customer-supplied parts as part of the installation, ensuring everything aligns perfectly with the new exhaust setup.

To complete the transformation, we finished the system with a set of premium carbon fibre quad exhaust tips, giving the rear of the car a clean, modern, and high-performance finish that perfectly suits the styling of the 535d.

As with all of our custom exhaust work, the system was fabricated and installed in-house using high-quality materials and precision craftsmanship, ensuring excellent fitment, durability, and an OEM-quality finish.
