Service Completed: Custom Back Box Delete & Quad Exit

At MIJ Exhaust Ltd, we recently completed a custom rear exhaust upgrade for a Mercedes-Benz CLA 180 AMG, carrying out a back box delete and transforming the rear of the vehicle with a bespoke quad-exit exhaust setup.

For this project, the customer requested a back box delete combined with a quad-exit configuration, featuring twin exhaust tips on each side of the vehicle. We removed the original rear back box and fabricated the new rear section in-house, carefully positioning the pipework and exhaust tips to achieve a clean, symmetrical finish across the rear of the CLA.

The quad-exit setup, with twin tips on both the left and right sides, gives the Mercedes a much sportier and more aggressive appearance while complementing the styling of the AMG model. The finished configuration provides a clean and balanced look, with all four tips positioned neatly within the rear of the vehicle.

Manufactured entirely in-house using premium-grade stainless steel, the new rear section was fabricated specifically for this CLA 180 to provide accurate fitment, excellent durability, and a high-quality finish. The back box delete also gives the vehicle a more noticeable and sporty exhaust note, adding further character to the car.
