Service Completed: Custom Valved Back Box & Centre Exit Exhaust Upgrade

At MIJ Exhaust Ltd, we recently completed a custom valved back box and centre exit exhaust upgrade for a 2015 MINI Cooper S 2.0 Petrol, giving this sporty hatchback a more aggressive sound and a distinctive performance-inspired rear-end finish.

For this build, we fabricated a custom valved rear back box, allowing the customer to switch between a more refined exhaust note with the valve closed and a louder, sportier sound with the valve open.

The system was designed around a centre exit configuration, perfectly complementing the styling of the MINI Cooper S while giving the rear of the car a more purposeful appearance.

To complete the build, the customer chose an oval Akrapovič-style carbon fibre exhaust tailpipe, adding a premium motorsport-inspired touch to the finished system.

As with all our custom exhaust work, the system was hand-fabricated in-house using quality materials and precision fabrication techniques, ensuring excellent fitment, alignment and finish.
