Service Completed: Custom Quad Exit Backbox Delete & OPF Delete – 2017 BMW 430d M Sport Gran Coupé 3.0L Turbo Diesel

At MIJ Exhaust Ltd, we recently completed a custom backbox delete and OPF delete for this 2017 BMW 430d M Sport Gran Coupé 3.0L Turbo Diesel, giving it a more aggressive sound and a striking new rear-end appearance.

The customer wanted to enhance both the sound and styling of the car, so we fabricated a bespoke quad exit rear section, finished with twin carbon fibre tailpipes on each side. The upgraded setup perfectly complements the M Sport styling, giving the 430d a more purposeful, performance-inspired look.

By removing the factory backbox and carrying out the OPF delete, the 3.0-litre turbo diesel now delivers a deeper, more pronounced exhaust note while allowing for improved exhaust flow. The result is a sportier sound that’s refined enough for everyday driving but with far more character than the standard system.

As with all of our custom exhaust work, this system was handcrafted in-house using high-quality T304 stainless steel and fully TIG welded, ensuring exceptional durability, a precise fit, and a clean, professional finish that’s built to last.
