Service Completed: Custom Rear Exhaust Section – 1998 Mercedes-Benz E280 2.8L Naturally Aspirated Petrol

At MIJ Exhaust Ltd, we recently completed a custom rear exhaust section for this 1998 Mercedes-Benz E280 2.8L Naturally Aspirated Petrol, restoring the exhaust system with a bespoke solution built to fit perfectly.

Over time, rear exhaust sections on older vehicles can suffer from corrosion and wear, and replacement parts aren’t always easy to source. For this E280, we fabricated a custom rear section designed to replace the worn original, ensuring a precise fit and long-lasting reliability.

The new exhaust restores the smooth, refined exhaust note that suits the E280 perfectly, while allowing the naturally aspirated 2.8-litre V6 to breathe efficiently. The result is an OEM-style finish with the quality and durability of a handcrafted stainless steel system.

As with all of our custom exhaust work, this rear section was fabricated in-house using high-quality T304 stainless steel and fully TIG welded, ensuring outstanding corrosion resistance, excellent durability, and a clean, professional finish that’s built to last.
