Service Completed: Custom Dual Exit Cat-Back Exhaust System

At MIJ Exhaust Ltd, we recently completed a custom cat-back exhaust system for this 2002 Lexus GS300 SE 3.0L Petrol, enhancing the vehicle’s sound, appearance, and overall driving experience with a bespoke stainless steel exhaust upgrade.

For this build, our team fabricated and installed a custom cat-back exhaust system, replacing the exhaust components from the catalytic converter backwards. Designed and manufactured in-house, the new system was tailored specifically to suit the smooth and refined character of the GS300 while providing a more engaging exhaust note and improved rear-end styling.

The system was built in a dual-exit configuration, allowing the exhaust to exit on both sides of the vehicle. This layout complements the executive styling of the Lexus perfectly, creating a more balanced and premium appearance at the rear while giving the car a subtle performance-inspired edge.

Alongside the visual enhancement, the custom cat-back system allows the 3.0-litre straight-six engine to produce a deeper, richer exhaust note. The result is a refined yet purposeful sound that suits the character of the GS300, adding more enjoyment behind the wheel without sacrificing the comfort expected from a luxury saloon.
