Service Completed: Custom Single Exit Cat-Back Exhaust System

At MIJ Exhaust Ltd, we recently completed a custom cat-back exhaust system for this Peugeot 406 HDi Rapier 2.0L Diesel, replacing the original mid and rear sections with a bespoke stainless steel exhaust setup tailored to the customer’s requirements.

For this build, the customer requested a straightforward, no-nonsense exhaust system with improved longevity and a cleaner overall design. Our team fabricated and installed a custom cat-back system from the catalytic converter backwards, replacing the factory mid and rear sections with precision-made straight pipework.

This vehicle features a single-exit exhaust configuration, meaning the exhaust exits the rear of the vehicle on one side only. We retained this layout while creating a cleaner and more durable system that complements the car’s original design.

To finish the installation, the customer opted for a classic slash-cut rolled exhaust tip. This timeless style provides a neat OEM-inspired appearance and suits the character of the Peugeot perfectly, offering a subtle yet smart finishing touch to the rear of the vehicle.
