Service Completed: Back Box Delete with Twin Tips & Double Resonator Delete

At MIJ Exhaust Ltd, we recently welcomed this 2012 Audi A3 RS3 Quattro 2.5L Petrol into our workshop for a pair of carefully selected exhaust modifications, designed to enhance both the appearance and sound of the vehicle without the need for a complete exhaust replacement.

For this build, we carried out a back box delete and double resonator delete, transforming the character of the iconic 2.5-litre five-cylinder engine while retaining the original system where replacement simply wasn’t necessary.

To complete the rear-end appearance, we finished the system with a set of stylish twin exhaust tips, giving the RS3 a cleaner and more purposeful look that perfectly suits its performance-focused styling.

The double resonator delete allows more of the distinctive five-cylinder soundtrack to be heard, delivering a deeper, more aggressive exhaust note with improved presence throughout the rev range. Combined with the back box modification, the result is a more engaging driving experience that brings out the true character of the RS3 without compromising everyday usability.
