Service Completed: Custom Cat-Back Exhaust System with Sports Catalytic Converter

At MIJ Exhaust Ltd, we recently completed a custom exhaust upgrade on this 2000 BMW Z3 318 1.9L Petrol, enhancing both the vehicle’s performance-inspired styling and exhaust characteristics while retaining its classic roadster appeal.

For this build, we fabricated and installed a bespoke stainless steel cat-back exhaust system, paired with a high-flow sports catalytic converter. The upgraded system improves exhaust flow and delivers a smoother, sportier exhaust note, giving the Z3 a more engaging driving experience without compromising everyday usability.

To complete the transformation, we fitted a set of twin burnt blue exhaust tips, adding a striking visual feature to the rear of the vehicle. The distinctive blue finish provides a modern performance-inspired look that contrasts beautifully with the Z3’s timeless design, helping the car stand out while maintaining a clean and tasteful appearance.

As with all of our custom exhaust systems, the work was carried out in-house using high-quality materials and precision fabrication techniques to ensure excellent fitment, durability, and a professional finish throughout.
