Service Completed: Custom Dual Exit Cat-Back Exhaust System

At MIJ Exhaust Ltd, we recently completed a bespoke cat-back exhaust upgrade on this 2008 Mercedes-Benz SL350 3.5L Petrol, designed to enhance the vehicle’s sound, appearance, and overall driving experience.

For this build, we fabricated and installed a complete custom stainless steel mid and rear exhaust system, featuring a true dual-pipe design running through the centre of the vehicle all the way to the rear. This configuration provides improved exhaust flow while delivering a deeper, more refined exhaust note that complements the smooth character of the SL350’s V6 engine.

To complete the system, we incorporated dual rear back boxes and finished the setup with offset inlet exhaust tips, creating a clean, balanced appearance that suits the SL’s premium styling. The dual exit design gives the rear of the vehicle a more purposeful and performance-inspired look while retaining the elegance expected from a Mercedes-Benz.

As with all of our exhaust systems, the work was carried out in-house using high-quality stainless steel and precision fabrication techniques to ensure excellent fitment, long-lasting durability, and a professional finish throughout.
