🔧 Service Completed: Custom Downpipe-Back Stainless Steel Exhaust System

At MIJ Exhaust Ltd, we recently carried out a full custom downpipe-back exhaust system on this Saab 9-3 Aero HOT Coupe 2001 2.0L Petrol, giving the car a more purposeful sound and a fresh stainless steel exhaust setup built to last.

For this build, we fabricated a complete stainless steel system from the downpipe back, designed to improve exhaust flow while enhancing the character of Saab’s turbocharged 2.0L engine. The result is a deeper, sportier exhaust note with improved presence under acceleration, while still remaining comfortable for regular road use.

To finish off the rear of the vehicle, we fitted a single-exit twin-tip arrangement, providing a clean, performance-inspired look that suits the styling of this classic Aero Coupe perfectly.

As with all of our custom exhaust work, the system was fabricated and installed entirely in-house using high-quality stainless steel and precision craftsmanship to ensure excellent fitment, durability, and a professional finish throughout.
