🔧 Service Completed: Custom Dual Rear Section Upgrade

At MIJ Exhaust Ltd, we recently carried out a custom exhaust upgrade on this Mercedes SL55 AMG 2003 5.5L Supercharged Petrol, enhancing both the sound and appearance of this iconic performance roadster.

For this build, we fabricated and installed a custom dual rear section featuring oval silencers, carefully designed to deliver a deeper, richer exhaust note while maintaining the refined character expected from the SL55 AMG. The result is a more pronounced V8 soundtrack with improved presence throughout the rev range, allowing more of the supercharged 5.5L engine’s character to shine through.

To complete the rear-end transformation, we fitted a set of black AMG-style quad exhaust tips, giving the vehicle a more aggressive and modern appearance while perfectly complementing the car’s AMG heritage.

As with all of our custom exhaust work, every component was fabricated and installed in-house using high-quality materials and precision craftsmanship to ensure excellent fitment, durability, and a clean OEM+ finish.
