Service Completed: Valved Rear Section Exhaust Upgrade

At MIJ Exhaust Ltd, we recently completed a bespoke exhaust upgrade on this Audi RS3 TFSI Quattro 2017, designed to enhance sound, improve flow, and deliver a more dynamic driving experience.

This build features a custom valved rear section paired with precision mandrel-bent pipework, allowing for smoother airflow and reduced restriction compared to the factory setup. The valved system gives full control over the exhaust note—keeping things refined and controlled with the valve closed, and unlocking a much louder, sharper tone when opened.

The result is a more aggressive and engaging sound profile, perfectly complementing the iconic 2.5L five-cylinder engine, with a crisp note under acceleration and a refined tone during cruising.

The mandrel-bent pipework ensures consistent diameter throughout the system, maximising performance while maintaining a clean, high-quality finish.

As with all of our exhaust systems, this setup was fabricated in-house using high-grade T304 stainless steel, ensuring durability, corrosion resistance, and a precise OEM+ finish.
