Service Completed: Custom Dual Rear Backbox Delete

At MIJ Exhaust Ltd, we recently carried out a bespoke exhaust modification on this Toyota Crown Majesta 2009, designed to unlock more of the engine’s character while maintaining a refined, executive feel.

This build features a dual rear backbox delete, removing the factory rear silencers on both sides to create a freer-flowing exhaust system. The result is a deeper, richer V8 tone with improved presence, giving the 4.6L engine the sound it truly deserves without overwhelming the cabin during normal driving.

Retaining the dual rear exit layout, this setup enhances both performance feel and aesthetics, offering a more purposeful stance and balanced exhaust note from both sides of the vehicle.

On the road, the modification delivers a smooth, low-end rumble at idle and a strong, refined growl under acceleration, perfectly suited to the Majesta’s luxury performance character.

As with all of our work, this system was completed in-house using high-quality T304 stainless steel and precision fabrication techniques, ensuring durability, corrosion resistance, and a clean OEM+ finish.
