Service Completed: Custom Cat-Back Straight Pipe Exhaust

At MIJ Exhaust Ltd, we recently completed a bespoke exhaust upgrade on this BMW 316ti 2004, built to enhance exhaust flow, sharpen the sound, and give the car a more aggressive and sporty character.

This setup features a full custom cat-back straight pipe exhaust system, removing restrictive components from the factory system to create a freer-flowing exhaust path. The result is improved throttle response and a noticeably louder, more pronounced exhaust note, bringing out the true character of the 1.8L petrol engine.

To complete the look, the system is finished with a twin double-skinned exhaust tip, adding a clean, premium aesthetic to the rear while perfectly matching the upgraded sound profile.

On the road, this modification delivers a deeper, more aggressive tone under acceleration, while still maintaining a manageable level of refinement during steady cruising.

As with all of our exhaust systems, this build was fabricated in-house using high-quality T304 stainless steel, ensuring durability, corrosion resistance, and a precise OEM+ finish.
