Service Completed: Custom Cat-Back Exhaust Upgrade

At MIJ Exhaust Ltd, we recently completed a bespoke exhaust upgrade on this Mercedes C180 Kompressor SE (2005) 1.8L Petrol, designed to improve exhaust flow, enhance sound, and refresh the rear-end styling with a more modern AMG-inspired finish.

This build featured a custom cat-back system, replacing the factory exhaust with a more free-flowing setup from the mid section back. The upgraded system reduces restriction, allowing the engine to breathe more efficiently and delivering a slightly deeper, more refined exhaust tone with a smoother overall character.

To complete the look, we fitted black staggered AMG-style tips, giving the rear of the vehicle a much more aggressive and premium appearance while maintaining a clean OEM+ finish that suits the Mercedes styling.

As with all of our systems, this exhaust was hand-fabricated in-house using high-quality T304 stainless steel and fully TIG welded, ensuring excellent durability, corrosion resistance, and a precise, long-lasting fit.
