Service Completed: Custom Backbox Delete Upgrade

At MIJ Exhaust Ltd, we recently completed a bespoke exhaust upgrade on this BMW 320d M Sport (2013), designed to improve exhaust flow and enhance the overall driving experience while maintaining everyday usability.

This build featured a custom backbox delete, removing the restrictive rear silencer from the factory system. This allows the exhaust gases to flow more freely, resulting in a smoother, more responsive feel and a more defined diesel tone with a subtle increase in presence under acceleration.

The upgrade also gives the vehicle a slightly more purposeful character from the rear, while still keeping a clean and understated OEM+ appearance in line with the M Sport styling.

As with all of our exhaust systems, this setup was hand-fabricated in-house using high-quality T304 stainless steel and fully TIG welded, ensuring excellent durability, corrosion resistance, and a precise, long-lasting fit.
