Service Completed: Custom Cat-Back Exhaust Upgrade

At MIJ Exhaust Ltd, we recently completed a bespoke exhaust upgrade on this Volkswagen Polo GTI DSG (2017) 1.8L Petrol, designed to enhance performance, sound, and overall rear-end styling.

This build featured a custom cat-back system, including both mid and rear sections, replacing the factory exhaust with a more free-flowing setup. The upgrade improves exhaust gas flow, helping the engine breathe more efficiently and delivering a sharper, more responsive driving feel.

To finish the system, we fitted a twin-tip rear exit, giving the Polo GTI a cleaner, more aggressive OEM+ appearance while subtly enhancing its sporty character.

The result is a deeper, more refined exhaust note that becomes more pronounced under acceleration, perfectly suiting the performance nature of the GTI without being intrusive during normal driving.

As with all of our exhaust systems, this setup was hand-fabricated in-house using high-quality T304 stainless steel and fully TIG welded, ensuring excellent durability, corrosion resistance, and a precise, long-lasting fit.
