Service Completed: Custom Valved Cat-Back Exhaust Upgrade

At MIJ Exhaust Ltd, we recently completed a bespoke exhaust system on this Audi S3 Sportback Quattro 2.0L Petrol (2015), designed to elevate both performance and sound while retaining everyday usability.

This build featured a full custom cat-back system, including both mid and rear sections, integrated with a valved setup. The upgraded system improves overall exhaust flow, allowing the engine to breathe more efficiently and deliver a smoother, more responsive driving experience.

With the valves closed, the exhaust maintains a refined, controlled tone suitable for daily driving. Open the valves, and the system transforms—producing a deeper, more aggressive exhaust note with increased volume and presence, perfectly complementing the S3’s performance capabilities.

The system was carefully designed to sit seamlessly within the vehicle, maintaining a clean OEM+ look while adding a more purposeful, performance-inspired edge to the rear profile.

As with all of our exhaust systems, this setup was hand-fabricated in-house using high-quality T304 stainless steel and fully TIG welded, ensuring excellent durability, corrosion resistance, and a precise, factory-quality fit.
