Service Completed: Custom Dual Rear Exhaust Upgrade

At MIJ Exhaust Ltd, we recently completed a bespoke rear exhaust system for this Mitsubishi 3000GT 3.0L Petrol (1997), enhancing both the vehicle’s sound and visual presence while staying true to its iconic performance roots.

This project involved the design and installation of a custom dual rear exit setup, paired with Jap-style cans to deliver a more authentic, aggressive exhaust tone. The upgraded system allows for improved exhaust flow, helping the engine breathe more freely and produce a deeper, sportier note with a distinctive character that suits the 3000GT perfectly.

The Jap-style cans not only transform the sound but also give the rear of the vehicle a classic performance-inspired look, complementing the car’s timeless design while adding a bold aftermarket touch.

As with all of our systems, this exhaust was hand-fabricated in-house using high-quality T304 stainless steel and fully TIG welded. This ensures excellent durability, corrosion resistance, and a precise, factory-quality fit.
