Service Completed: Downpipe-Back Exhaust System (Twin to Single Conversion)

At MIJ Exhaust Ltd, we recently worked on this classic Ford Scorpio Granada (1994) 3.0L petrol, a rare vehicle where sourcing replacement exhaust components can often be a real challenge.

With limited off-the-shelf options available, we designed and fabricated a complete custom downpipe-back exhaust system, incorporating a two-into-one configuration. This setup not only restores reliability but also improves exhaust flow while maintaining a smooth, refined tone suited to a classic vehicle.

Our custom solution ensures the car remains road-ready without compromising its original character—something that’s especially important for older and harder-to-source models like this.

As with all of our systems, the exhaust was hand-crafted in-house using high-quality T304 stainless steel and fully TIG welded, providing excellent durability, a precise fit, and a clean, professional finish.
