Service Completed: Custom Rear Exhaust Upgrade with Twin Tip

At MIJ Exhaust Ltd, we recently completed a bespoke rear exhaust upgrade on this BMW 318is (1991), part of the iconic E30 generation—widely regarded as a modern classic.

The original rear silencer was replaced with a fully custom-fabricated exhaust box, designed to restore and enhance the car’s exhaust tone while maintaining its period-correct character. This setup delivers a deeper, more engaging sound without overwhelming the classic driving experience these cars are known for.

To finish the system, we fitted a twin tip exit, giving the rear of the vehicle a subtle performance touch while keeping the overall look clean and in line with the original styling.
